Big news from the House of Cocktails: I just passed the MAST Class 12 certification for Washington State! 🥂 That means I can now legally serve alcohol, mix cocktails, and step behind the bar at any establishment across the state. Whether it’s a dive bar in Ballard or a rooftop soirée downtown, I’m ready to shake, stir, and sling drinks like a pro.
This certification isn’t just a checkbox—it’s a major step forward for me and this little cocktail-fueled journey I’ve been on. For the last 6–7 years, I’ve been deep in the world of craft mixology, experimenting, learning, and serving up handcrafted drinks for friends, family, and the occasional lucky stranger. Now, with this official green light, I can take my passion on the road and bring it to pop-ups, private parties, weddings, corporate gigs, and even step in for bartenders when they need a hand at some point in the future.
If you’ve ever thought, “Man, I wish I could have a killer cocktail without going to some overpriced bar,” well… now you can. I’m your guy.
This is just the beginning. I’ll still be sharing recipes, tips, and cocktail nerdery here on the blog, but hopefully I’ll be adding more in-person events, bookings, and behind-the-bar antics into the mix.
