Well, it’s certainly been a long time since I have graced these pages…in fact, they look absolutely nothing like they did when I first put this site up.
Yup, I finally decided to the the whole thing down and build what I originally wanted to build…a site dedicated to craft cocktails.
But it’s not just that, no no no. I’ve actually using an AI bot on here to answer cocktail questions. I trained in on my drink book (the drinks I like) and set it lose upon the world. Sure, it starts with cocktails, but soon it’s Terminator-style.
But until that happens, let’s enjoy a few cocktails. I’ll try to add something to the blog each week. Some of you may have notice the video vault section…those are the oldies but goodies, and if you have been around long enough you’ll remember those from the COVID days. If there is enough interest, I might start making some more 🙂
But, in the short term, I’ll drop this on you…probably one of my fav drinks right now. The Black Manhattan!
Black Manhattan
- 2 oz rye whiskey
- 1 oz Averna amaro
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1 dash orange bitters
- Garnish: brandied cherry
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well chilled. Strain into chilled glass. Garnish with brandied cherry.
