Come and Knock on Our Door
I'm a Halloween skeptic married to a Halloween evangelist, and this year she turned the house into a Three's Company reunion with a Mrs. Roper in every room.
I'll admit it: I'm not really into Halloween. It was fun when I was younger, but these days it's not my jam. To me it's the doorway to the Holidays, and Christmas is the room I actually want to be in.
My wife, on the other hand, LOVES Halloween. Every year she throws her Ghoul-friends party (get the riff there?), and her friends show up in costume to drink cocktails in my living room.
This year she went full Mrs. Roper. You remember Three's Company, right? The wigs, the muumuus, the whole landlady wardrobe, in every room of the house. It was epic, and if you don't believe me, just take a gander at the pic.
My goddaughter came as Mr. Roper, and she's the one I'd have given the costume prize to (if there was one). Absolutely classic.
Cheers, Steve
