Red Hot Santa Tini
martini · vodka
Santa has nothing to do with this beyond the name. The cayenne in the rim lands before the vodka's heat does, so a pinch is plenty, and the whipped cream is fire control rather than decoration. You stop noticing the chili by the second one, which is the part to watch.
Ingredients
- 2 ozghost-fire vodka — or chili pepper infused vodka
- 2 ozchocolate liqueur (Godiva) — or cacao liqueur for a lighter drink
- —cacao powder or hot chocolate powder — for rimming the glass
- —cayenne pepper — pinch, for rimming the glass
- —whipped cream — or sweetened whipping cream, for topping
Garnish
Whipped cream; rim with cacao/hot chocolate powder and cayenne pepper
Method
Add vodka and chocolate liqueur to the shaker and shake with cracked ice. Mix chocolate powder and a pinch of cayenne pepper together to rim the martini glass. Top with whipped cream.
