Ingredients: 2 oz cabernet sauvignon wine; 2 oz vodka; 1 oz simple syrup; 1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice; 3 blueberries (the blue) or black raspberries (coated in powdered sugar)

Purple, cold, and tasting like a wine cooler that got a job. Cabernet's tannin is holding the back end together, which is why the syrup isn't optional — pull it and the drink goes chalky. The name is a warning, and I have ignored it.

Ingredients

2 ozcabernet sauvignon wine
2 ozvodka
1 ozsimple syrup
1 ozfreshly squeezed lemon juice

Garnish

3 blueberries (the blue) or black raspberries (coated in powdered sugar)

Method

Add all the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with 3 blueberries or black raspberries coated in powdered sugar.
