Sea Breeze Cooler

highball · gin · brandy

Pale pink under a mint sprig, tasting like fruit punch right up until the gin arrives. The grenadine is there for color rather than sweetness — the apricot brandy handles that — so stir everything before the soda goes in or the fruit just sits on the bottom. Light-looking drinks are how I lose afternoons.
