Tracy Gimlet

Ingredients: 2 oz coconut vodka — substituted for gin; ½–¾ oz simple syrup; ½–¾ oz freshly squeezed lime juice; lime; optional fresh basil leaves

Stand it next to the gin version and the difference is botanicals traded for what tastes like a beach vacation. Match the lime and syrup, and start at the half ounce, since coconut vodka shows up sweet already. The basil is optional the way a second round is optional.

Method

In a shaker, combine ingredients with ice and shake. Garnish with lime; add fresh basil leaves to the shaker and shake for something special.
