Brown Derby

Name: Brown Derby
Ingredients: 2½ oz bourbon; 1 oz freshly squeezed grapefruit juice; ½ oz honey syrup — 2 parts honey, 1 part water

No lemon anywhere in this, and it still works as a sour. Thin the honey with warm water before it goes in the shaker, or it sinks and the last inch of the drink does all the sweetening at once. Grapefruit sweetness swings wildly, so taste the juice — I've skipped that and paid for it.

Ingredients

2½ ozbourbon
1 ozfreshly squeezed grapefruit juice
½ ozhoney syrup — 2 parts honey, 1 part water

Method

Add all ingredients into shaker. Shake and pour into a highball glass over ice or martini glass. Enjoy!
