Eggnog Martini

Somewhere in December the carton in the fridge stops being a beverage and becomes an ingredient. Shake it hard on cracked ice — the nog is thick, and the air you beat into it is all that separates this from a milkshake. The sugared rim means dessert is already handled.
Ingredients
- 2½ ozeggnog
- 1 ozvanilla vodka
- 1 ozamaretto
- —caramel syrup — for rimming the glass
- —brown sugar — for rimming the glass
- 1cinnamon stick — garnish
Garnish
Cinnamon stick; rim glass with caramel and brown sugar
Method
Add eggnog, vodka, and amaretto to the shaker and shake with cracked ice. Rim martini glass with caramel and brown sugar, garnish with cinnamon stick, and enjoy.
