Ingredients: 3 oz Gin; 1½ oz Sweet vermouth; ¼–½ oz Maraschino liqueur; 3–4 dashes Bitters; Orange peel

The vermouth is not a rinse here; it's half the drink. Start the maraschino at a quarter ounce, because it will take the whole glass given the chance. I make these when I want a Martini and also want to keep talking.

Ingredients

Where there's a range: the low end is lighter, the high end is fuller.

3 ozGin
1½ ozSweet vermouth
¼–½ ozMaraschino liqueur
3–4 dashesBitters

Garnish

Orange peel

Method

Build just like a martini; stir all ingredients over ice. Pour entire contents into highball glass. Garnish with orange peel, and enjoy!
