Mojito

Name: Mojito
Ingredients: 2 oz white rum; ¾ oz simple syrup; ¾ oz lime juice — fresh; to taste mint leaves — a small handful, stems left out; to top club soda; Lime slice, if desired

A Daiquiri that grew mint and got tall. The soda goes into the shaker at the end and gets stirred, not shaken — put the lid back on after the bubbles arrive and you will redecorate the kitchen. Mine get longer as the evening does.

Ingredients

2 ozwhite rum
¾ ozsimple syrup
¾ ozlime juice — fresh
to tastemint leaves — a small handful, stems left out
to topclub soda

Garnish

Lime slice, if desired

Method

Add rum, mint, simple syrup, lime juice and ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake until combined. Add club soda to the shaker and stir — do not seal it again. Pour into a Collins glass.
