The Winston Churchill
other · scotch · bourbon
Dark and sullen in the glass, then unexpectedly bright the moment it lands. Lime against sweet vermouth is the strange move here, and it's what keeps the whole thing from turning sticky, so don't shortchange the citrus. The recipe says blended scotch; I use bourbon, and nobody has come for me yet.

- ½ ozCointreau
- ½ ozsweet vermouth
- ½ ozlime juice
