Cider Honey Bee

Cloudy gold, and it tastes like orchard long before it tastes like gin. Thin the honey with hot water or it seizes into a lump in the tin, and go easy on it — the cider is already sweetening this. I make these in October and call it produce.
Ingredients
Where there's a range: the low end is lighter, the high end is fuller.
- 2 ozGin
- 3 ozApple cider
- 1 ozHoney syrup
- 1 ozLemon juice
- 1–2 dashesBitters
Garnish
Thin apple slices
Method
Add all to a shaker filled with ice and shake. Pour over rocks or into a chilled glass. Garnish with apple slices around the rim.
