Dry Martini

Name: Dry Martini
Ingredients: 2½ oz Gin (or Vodka); ½ oz dry vermouth; 1 dash orange bitters; lemon twist

Beside the older half-and-half version, the vermouth is barely present here, and still doing most of the work. It's wine, so keep the bottle refrigerated and dump it after a month; tired vermouth is why most of these taste flat. Shaking it offends people, and I've made peace with that.

Ingredients

2½ ozGin (or Vodka)
½ ozdry vermouth
1 dashorange bitters

Garnish

lemon twist

Method

Add all of the ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake. Garnish with lemon twist.
