Espresso Martini

Name: Espresso Martini
Ingredients: 2 oz Vodka or Gin — could use espresso vodka if you have it; ½ oz Simple Syrup; ½ oz Coffee Liqueur; 1 oz Freshly brewed espresso; 3 coffee beans

Nobody ordering one of these thinks it's a martini, and they're right — it's dessert with a job. The espresso needs to be freshly pulled and still hot going into the shaker, since that's the only thing making the foam on top. I have called this a nightcap, which it very much isn't.

Ingredients

2 ozVodka or Gin — could use espresso vodka if you have it
½ ozSimple Syrup
½ ozCoffee Liqueur
1 ozFreshly brewed espresso

Garnish

3 coffee beans

Method

Add all of the ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake. Fine-strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with 3 coffee beans.
