Espresso non-Martini Martini
martini · tequila
Dark, foam-capped, and tasting faintly of a decision made after midnight. The coffee liqueur brings plenty of sugar, so the agave is doing texture more than sweetness — go heavier and the tequila vanishes under it. Nobody has ever finished one of these and then gone to bed.
Ingredients
- 1½ ozcold brew concentrate or espresso
- 1 ozcoffee liqueur
- ¼ ozagave sugar (liquid)
- 1½ oztequila
Method
Add all ingredients and shake with cracked ice. Strain into a martini glass and enjoy.
Steve’s notes
Called 'non-Martini' because it uses tequila rather than vodka as the espresso martini's base spirit.
