Prickly Pear Cactus Margarita

Ingredients: 2 oz tequila; 2 oz sweet and sour mix — fluid; 1 oz triple sec; 1 oz lime juice; 1 oz prickly pear syrup; Lime

Next to a standard margarita, this is the same drink in a magenta dress — the prickly pear brings more color than it brings flavor. Both the syrup and the sour mix are sweetening it, so the fresh lime is the only thing standing between you and a snow cone. I've made these by the pitcher, which explains some of my summers.

Ingredients

2 oztequila
2 ozsweet and sour mix — fluid
1 oztriple sec
1 ozlime juice
1 ozprickly pear syrup

Garnish

Lime

Method

Add all ingredients into shaker. Shake. Strain and pour. Add lime for garnish.
