Steve's Nuts

It sits right next to an Old Fashioned, except the nuttiness is doing most of the sweetening. The walnut liqueur carries its own sugar, so treat that half ounce of Demerara as a ceiling rather than a starting point. I named it, and now I have to hear people order it out loud.

• 1 ozwalnut liqueur
• ½ ozDemerara syrup — could substitute simple syrup

Method

Add all ingredients into a highball glass, add ice, and stir. Add cherry as garnish; this is a lovely, nutty drink.
