Name: The Jeff
Ingredients: 2 oz apple brandy; ¾ oz lime juice; ½ oz grenadine; 2 dashes absinthe; lime wedge — garnish; Lime wedge or twisted rind

Put this beside a Jack Rose and the only argument between them is the absinthe. Two dashes is seasoning rather than an ingredient — go to three and the apple vanishes under a licorice cloud. I wrote this one down without a name, so it ended up borrowing a friend's.

Ingredients

2 ozapple brandy
¾ ozlime juice
½ ozgrenadine

Garnish

Lime wedge or twisted rind

Method

Add all ingredients and shake with cracked ice. Garnish with a lime wedge/twisted rind.
