The Man O' War

For the evening that wants a whiskey sour with slightly better manners. The Grand Marnier is the only sweetener, so there's no syrup to add and no room to eyeball it — the vermouth is what keeps the orange from going full candy. Pick a bourbon loud enough to be heard over it.

Ingredients

• 1½ ozbourbon
• 1 ozGrand Marnier
• ½ ozsweet vermouth
• ½ ozlemon juice
• —lemon twist and/or cocktail cherry — garnish

Method

Add all ingredients and shake with cracked ice. Add garnish.
