Moscow Mule

Name: Moscow Mule
Ingredients: 2 oz Vodka; 1½ oz Lime juice; Ice cubes; 4 oz Ginger beer; Lime wedge and mint sprig

Ginger beer is running this, and the vodka is mostly along for the ride. The lime looks like too much on paper, but it's the only thing standing between you and four ounces of sweet — cut it and the drink goes flabby. The copper mug does nothing, and I use one anyway.

Ingredients

2 ozVodka
1½ ozLime juice
—Ice cubes
4 ozGinger beer

Garnish

Lime wedge and mint sprig

Method

Pour vodka and lime juice into mule mug. Add ice. Top with ginger beer. Stir to combine. Garnish with lime wedge and mint sprig.

Simple version alternative, credited to Moscow Copper Company: Fill a copper mug with ice. Add 1 part vodka, 2 parts ginger beer and the juice of half a lime. Stir and serve.
